Such a great, professional demo! Thanks.
Can this filter be installed sideways? I got my lines on top of the attic,
but I can get to the main line as it goes up the wall.
you need to watch this video that you made. Counter Clock and Clock wise
are said but the opposite is what is being shown :-(
Dude you dont look so hot
my problem is finding the tubings behind the dry wall in the garage
will any of the filters remove chloramines????
just clicked the link and it doesn’t work. how can i buy the kit?
Thanks for the great video…
Will this unit help with hard water?
Hey, that’s the grteaest! So with ll this brain power AWHFY?
Does this filter have any metal parts in it or is it all plastic? I have
one smaller filter, on the inner side under this red pressure button, there
is metal screw. I need to filter water with high concentration of salt in
it, and in time salt will start dissolving any metal parts, so i will end
up with high concentration of heavy metals in the solution i filter. Filter
i have is too small, this 20 inch one is perfect.
It is 54.95 for the whole kit + filter cartridge…. and here’s a coupon
code for 5% off good for the week: “youtube5”. You can find a link to the
filter in the video description above.
How much is that filter system ?
Aquaman, you taught me everything I know about whole house filtration.
Thanks man.
Whole House system
We really need to know what the filter will filter out of the water. Does
it have NSF cert?
Improve your website connectivity, you’ll be glad you did!
After you replaced the filter and turned on incoming valve, what about
pressing red button to make sure water is coming right to the top of filter
housing? I’ve seen that on another video as an important step to make sure
no air in there.
Glad to help Kyle! Please be sure to check out the good prices and broad
selection of products at water filters dot net.
which Brand of product protect the O-ring!
Very helpful, I think every one should have water filtering system to get
chemicals free water and protect health.
You say you shut off both the incoming and outgoing valves and THEN turned
on a faucet to relieve pressure? Don’t you mean you shut off incoming, then
opened a faucet to relieve pressure, then turned off the outgoing valve?
Fun video aquaman
Hi! this is a perfect video. although i have a question. can you please
tell me what to do if on my case is I have low water pressure at home from
the main pipe going to the first stage of my filter system? what can i add?
do i have to add a pressure pump to increase my water pressure? your
professional advise is much appreciated. or you can email me at
jnavarro.ph@gmail.com thanks a lot!
@aquamanwisdom i found tons of stuff on soldering it, thanks :). Another
quick question. Im in a very large house (about 9500 sq ft) so there are
tons of faucets that need good pressure. Im worried about pressure drop
from multiple people using water at the same time. What kind of system
would you recommend for me. Thanks. I would like a sediment pre filter of
possible before the carbon stage.
Thank you for a great and easy to follow video. We live in Mexico and have
a whole house water filter system outside in the bodega. Quick
question…our water comes from an ajibe (cistern) under the car port and
from there it comes from??? Since water filtration is not a big ongoing
program here, is there any benefit from adding a small amount of bleach to
the ajibe every month or so to help fight the bacteria? Thanks again.
Great, thanks. Can you please make a video of how to install carbon and
sediment starting from cutting the main copper line and putting it all
together. Im looking to purchase this from your website but nervous about
cutting the main line 😮 lol Thanks
what would be usefull like for a bomb or fallout shelter? something that
would filter out all impurities and other things so water could be
recycled, after uses of toilet or drinking to be reused.
Yes, all RO systems reduce Fluoride by 95+%. It’s by far the most
economical way to care for that nasty contaminant.
If I have an aquasana whole house filter, would it make any sense to
install a softener prior to the filter if I wanted to drink the water? Or
do you not drink softened water and it would be proper to redirect a
separate line for drinking from the filter? I have a unit and lately I have
been getting surges and low pressure. I changed the prefilter and it’s not
that either…maybe the whole unit needs to be replaced, but I digress!
great man can i install 4th satage to a 3 stage system
The canisters should have valves on the bottom…Who invented those things?
You look & sound like that guy from Malcom in the Middle.
Aquaman, Excellent job of giving a very detailed video of ‘How To’ properly
change a whole house water filter with all the do’s and don’ts properly
explained! But I believe that if you actually wore an Aquaman costume while
posting these videos you might get more hits. Albeit you might get some
rude comments as well. But I think it would be a GREAT idea and great for
your business as well! It’s always the crazy commercials and videos that
people remember. Ta da … Aquaman to the rescue! 🙂
@abohthlool hahahah
Great vid this man knows what he’s doing for sure
@tarekyares Yes. The only limitation is the amount of available pressure
minus the inevitable pressure loss of the filters. If you have sufficient
pressure, you can install as many filters as you like.
@nhojcam That’s a fair point. It’s a good idea to clean the sumps and
disinfect them with a mild chlorine solution. One should also wash their
hands and/or wear rubber gloves to avoid contaminating the filter cartridge
with bacteria. Just FYI, I washed my hands before filming this video :~)
Howdy! This is my 1st comment here so I just wanted to give a quick shout out and tell you I really enjoy reading through your articles. Can you suggest any other blogs/websites/forums that deal with the same topics? Thanks for your time!
